Biography

Alexander Ayertey Odonkor is a chartered financial analyst and a chartered economist. He has a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance and a master's degree in Finance. He is a Fellow and an honorary member of the Global Advisory Council of the Global Academy of Finance and Management, United States. He is a member of the African Finance and Economic Association, the Royal Economic Society, United Kingdom and the American Economic Association. He has carried out extensive postgraduate study in economics and finance in prestigious institutions like Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York Institute of Finance, Corporate Finance Institute, Canada, University of Adelaide, Australia, and Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. Through the institute for Capacity Development of the International Monetary Fund, (IMF) Washington DC, United States, he has pursued international programmes in Debt Sustainability Analysis, Financial Programming and Policies. He is currently pursuing an international programme with the World Bank Group titled ''Digital Dividends: Strengthening the Analog Foundation of the Digital Revolution'' He has an undying interest in real estate development. His articles on real estate development are published in Realty Times in Texas, United States. His first research paper in economics was published by the Social Science Research Network, New York, United States. His books have been published by world-class publishers in Germany, Mauritius and France. He has published the following books: The Impact of Human Capital on Economic Growth, Case Studies in Finance, Credit Risk Management Practices, Socially-Responsible Real Estate Development, Business Model Implementation, Risk management for Project Managers, The Business of Mining, Turn your idea into a successful business.
