Biography

Doctoral Candidate at the School of Advanced Study, University of London. Researcher funded by the CAPES Foundation Ministry of Education of Brazil (BEX 0796/14-0). Master's degree in Human Rights and Democratisation, awarded by the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (Italy) and Uppsala University (Sweden). Master's Degree in Comparative Study of Mercosur and the European Union, University of Udine (Italy) and University of Cuyo (Argentina). Master's degree in Latin American Integration, Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Brazil. Her research focuses on refugee protection and responsibility-sharing in Latin America, primarily the origins, development and implementation of the Mexico and Brazil Plan of Action. She has previously worked in the fields of Refugee Law, Human Rights and Public International Law. She was an intern with the Brazilian Mission to the UN in Geneva and is a qualified Lawyer.
